Toru Apartments Queenstown

An unique housing development project from start to finish, consisting of three eight-level apartment blocks with 287 residential units and commercial spaces. The project implemented a unique structural system combining post-tensioned precast cores (PRESS System) and LVL timber wall framing for earthquake resistance. This was the first application of this kind of structure in New Zealand, and a building is still the tallest one in Queenstown
